I had the pleasure of presenting at the CyberSeminar at Warsaw University of Technology held on 3rd December 2024.
In an era where digital and green transformation are not just slogans but real necessities, I discussed how Artificial Intelligence can be a game-changer. In my presentation titled "Challenges of Digital and Green Transformations: How Al Can Help", I discussed how AI can streamline processes, enhance data analytics, and drive innovation.
I showcased AI's role in sustainability, highlighting applications from optimising energy use to aiding in climate modeling, where AI offers tools to make our green initiatives smarter. However, the environmental footprint of AI technologies, like the energy consumption of data centers, poses a challenge that needs addressing. The same is true for issues related to cybersecurity, where new developments create new threats.
The seminar was interactive, with a vibrant Q&A where attendees shared their insights and concerns about AI's role in our future. The consensus? AI is a powerful ally in our journey towards a digital and green future, but it requires responsible stewardship.
Thanks to everyone at Warsaw University of Technology for the opportunity to share these insights, and to all who attended for your engaging questions and discussions
