The seminar covered a wide range of topics, including the environmental and social impacts of new mobility services, user behavior, and shared micromobility.

During the Seminar on New Mobility Services organised at the University of Tokyo, I revised my paper on laws on electric scooter. I compared and contrasted regulatory regimes for electric scooters in Europe and Japan. My discussion focused on issues such as speed limits, access to bike paths and public roads, age requirements, and mandatory protective equipment like helmets and safety vests.

The seminar's format featured presentations by participants, interspersed with breaks, and concluded with a general discussion. This facilitated open dialogue, exchange of ideas, and networking.
